I wonder if there’re more people out there who would like to learn to love programming (as in doing it for fun), but haven’t been able to? I started with C in CS101, and then Java :( and pretty much stopped. Now that I’m a dad, I want to introduce a love for computational thinking for my children… but I guess I also want to take a crack at it again for myself. What would be your recommendation for me if I want to try and learn smalltalk (and programming) properly? Let’s say I’ll do something for 2 hours everyday for the next 3 months, what should I do and how should I start?

Thanks!

This is fascinating!

This is fascinating! To think that Trump is the result of a huge 4chan prank to America (and the world!) Right before the election, I started a new twitter account to follow conservatives and Trump supporters. The things I see on there, according to you, are the first 2 groups of people (Young racists and old conservatives who want to return to the olden days.), but in fact there should be a larger, hidden 3rd group of disenfranchised young men, who are out to fuck it up for everybody? I’m really curious what are their reactions to what has been happening since Trump won. Are they lulz-ing(?) on 4chan now? Where on 4chan can I read some of that?

V2 at first glance.

V2 at first glance. Left it alone for a few hours, come back, V1’s “calendar” is better. V2 is easier to read but it’s poor design - no association with existing objects, boring as a poster hanging on the wall, not as eye-catching, lack of vertical separator also create confusion when first timer read it horizontally across rather than up + down. V1 all the way.
