@jt_mag_os My feeling on this may be strange. As part of a diaspora, I support the naturalization of any people into any country. What I see as a problem in this case is the judges’ perception of beauty, bcoz that’s totally arbitrary and learned/bias by social trends.

The state of market driven economy now is so amazing. A country needs skilled workers from overseas, but then the jobs also don’t pay enough?! WTF? Now if the foreign worker actually has foreign investment income, he’s basically subsidizing the state’s failed economy.

Germany is different.

I’m so used to my “cheerful, optimistic American” way helping me to connect with others, make friends, get work, get whatever docs from immigration. Not a problem in Japan or Hong Kong.
