Woah! Just noticed Twitter added “Crypto folks” to my homepage! Anyone else seeing it?!

Alright… long thread written and posted. Now to see if Twitter has been shadow banning me…

What about you? Do you think NFTs in gaming will help or hurt game developers and the gaming industry as a whole? I’d love to hear your thoughts, and tag @ghansali in your replies! 22/

Minecraft is already well established, and now with @nftworldsNFT we have an eco-system of 10,000 worlds/games all using the same $WRLD currency with no gas fees! Suddenly, the interoperability of NFTs between different games is a lot more possible. 21/

He said NFT games will incentivise developers to make games more like stock markets rather than unique, authentic play experiences, and he worries about what will become gaming as an art form. I tend to agree with his sentiment. But all that changed with @nftworldsNFT! 20/

These will be building instructions for the first buildings in this world! After we get started, we can set a schedule to release new building NFTs every 3 months. Anyone can submit building plans to be voted on and winners will be made into building instructions. 16/

We can also pay city planners and architects to host building sessions or “Buildathons” for everyone to build together while getting paid $WRLD! I like building a beautiful world myself more than paying for professional builders to build and dump a finished world on me! 17/

I’m looking for validation of broad interests, so I’ve created 1000 NFTs at 0.02 ETH each. Just like LEGO IDEAS, if this idea gets enough support, I’ll make this world into reality, and the owner of these 1000 NFTs will get the “World Founders” NFTs airdropped to them. 15/

Another way is if you have expertise in urban design or architecture, you can lead design sessions to help make our Metaverse more “liveable”! This is the main problem with existing Metaverses - no urban planning, just plots and plots of land sticking randomly together. 13/

(2) Validating the idea. How excited are you about a build-and-earn game like this? I’d love to hear your feedback and ideas on what other features you’d like to see in this world. More than just words though, you can show your foresight & conviction by getting in early! 14/

Back to getting paid! First is obviously by playtime. But we can also make it project based, or vote on how much a building is worth. Imagine you spend time designing a new building while getting paid by the minute! Then you submit your design to the community’s idea vault… 11/

Side note. Did you know the first idea that got successfully crowdfunded on LEGO IDEAS was Minecraft?! There were multiple Minecraft ideas listed, but Mojang came in and put his blessing on one, then the community came together and it got over the 10,000 votes mark. 10/
