@kxmren @NihongoSOS The answer is rent. I used to work for Microsoft and Yahoo and you’d be surprise how some well paid engineers chose to live in their cars in the office parking lot.

Remember how Obama got the Nobel Peace Prize like right away? realdonaldtrump set the bar even lower than W Bush, so we can expect Biden’s team winning all kinds of prizes just by being normal.
Honestly! A typical D to R to D transition. I’ve lived through Bush to Clinton to Bush to Obama to Trump to Biden now, and I don’t understand why people still vote R.

@2co_p Truly brave patriots. 😂
Popped over to my conservative account, they’re making fun of the lack of crowd. 🤦🏻♂️ Still fucking clueless.
Watching https://bideninaugural.org/youth with my kids.
@2co_p No… wow. Nice!
@doctorow Everyone knows it’s overvalued, what’s amazing is how well Elon played Wall St. so far. Also, Tesla kinda feels like Apple / Nokia when iPhone first launched. Or Amazon in its early “invest everything into expanding infrastructure” days. But sure, $TSLA will adjust.

@2co_p Double suicide if you had sold your Bitcoin at $20K to get it 😂
So… he admits he is hosting bigotry? #Parler
“I guess 5G did get them after all lmao!” 🤣

@dwnews Boy are the replies dumb. In Trump’s case, yes, I’d make an exception. But the concern is valid in the big picture.
Please! We HAVE to impeach this time! https://x.com/BenCostiloe/status/1347657291819061250
My 2020 in Books.
@maram_fah @Ishikawa_Sachi @johnroderick Yea that’s the one part I would’ve done differently. I value the opportunities to work through problems with my kids, but certainly not when they’re hungry and definitely not for 6 hours!
@Ishikawa_Sachi @johnroderick Yes, I remember you went nc on your abusive parent, so I understand where you’re coming from. In this case though, it isn’t neglect. It’s actually the opposite. He actually spent much more time helping his daughter discover and learn about how a “simple” can opener works.
@Ishikawa_Sachi @johnroderick You can read it in his words. It’s much easier to give up and do it for her, or even give her a helping hand. I have often encounter this as a Dad too, and I’ll admit I’m often not as patient as him and end up doing too much for my daughter, which is actually not good for her.
@Ishikawa_Sachi @johnroderick He didn’t ignore her and go back to his jigsaw puzzle. He didn’t shame her for not being able to do “such a simple thing”. What he did was helping his daughter figure something out for herself, and in the end SHE felt proud of her achievement. She learned that she can do it!
@Ishikawa_Sachi @johnroderick now this may be how I project myself on him, but from what I read, he worked with his daughter, not allowing her to give up, continued to give her examples and his own experiences. The only think he didn’t do was giving her the answer or doing it for her.
@Ishikawa_Sachi @johnroderick Of course not. It’s because you said his daughter will think her dad cares about his pride more than her. You’re a parent too, I think, so may be you understand the amount of thinking parents put into what they say / do with their children… how we can help them overcome and grow
