Short, title-less, often half-baked. Published anyway.

@RealSexyCyborg I was surprised at how well he responded to your tweet, admitting to missing your POV and correcting himself. Not common on Twitter these days.

Coming from an environmentalist’s POV, all I saw was waste (one use battery, microchip, leds, lcd display…)

Finally it has begun!! My life goal is to have all the walls lined with bookshelves and these part drawers. #OCD

Twitter: “Here’s a seagull eating a rat whole.”

Youtube: “Here’s a seagull eating a rabbit whole!”

Twitter: “Well here’s a NYC rat eating a pigeon!”

I can’t figure out what the algorithms are trying to tell me.

I just can’t beat 2020! I need a cheat!!

  1. The disconnection of Google Drive and Photos. I’m paying for larger storage and uses Drive Stream, and there’s no option to also upload to Photos. The workaround to add photos from Drive was uselessly slow and now they’ve taken it away altogether!

  1. I love the auto vacation album, but I have multiple cameras! I’m careful to turn off Google Photo’s data and location permissions on iphone so I can upload photos from my other cameras, but one careless wifi connection and the album is automatically created!

There are things I love about Google Photos but 3 problems are forcing me to look for alternatives.

  1. Auto albums with faces are limited. Without a time frame option, it’s useless for parents as we have way too many kids pics.

My kids are up to Fishmen Island arc in #OnePiece, I had little recollection of it from reading the manga, but it actually illustrates the long fight for civil rights, racist hatred, democracy and even the importance of privacy! RESPECT!

@robotopia Same feeling. When my Japanese coworker gave birth back in her home town, she posted pictures of her meals everyday. Couldn’t believe my eyes.
